Hope the link works. We just had a delivery of the new furniture that we ordered. A chocolate brown couch and loveseat. And also a bedroom suite. It includes a new queen size mattress. I really hate the german mattresses. They are so thin and have no box springs. I will get some pics of that on here soon. We get all of our furniture and stuff delivered this Saturday finally!!!! Yippie! I have been sooo bored. We have been using temp furniture that the gove loaned us. So at least we had something to sit on.
We signed up for Sky satilite this time. Thank goodness! We do not have to deal with AFN and their crappy comercials. LOL We have tons of tv channels. It is really nice. We bought a new tv stand. It is really pretty solid wood stand. Now we just need to get a set of end tables, coffee tables and a set of reading lamps.
Hubby got me a set of the Expedit bookshelves from Ikea that I have been wanting for years. I have it assembled and waiting for all my scrapstuff when it arrives this weekend. I would like to get one more the same size. The room I am going to use for my scraproom is huge! I love it. I just need to get a rug to go on the floor. The tiles would be really cold. It seems to stay nice and cool down there.
This place is 5 stories tall. To get in there are two ways. One you come in from the street level to the front door is 32 stairs. Or to come in from the street level in the garage to the very top floor is 64 stairs!!!!!! Damn! I will not need that stair stepper! LOL
I bought my plane tickets so I can go and pick up the dogs. I will fly back to the US Oct 14th and then fly back Oct 21st. It will be nice to see the boys and to get the dogs. It does not seem right to not have them here around with us.
Hubby is talking about maybe going to Crete sometime in December. That would be really nice. He found a site where we can rent vacation condos for $329 a week. :-) We would just have to find someone to watch the puppies or a kennel to put them in. :-)
I love this blog entry, and congrats on the new home!! It looks amazing,
especially the backyard view! Hopefully, you will put up a few shots when
your furniture is in place. And you look as beautiful as ever! You have to
let me know the website your husband is using to rent that vacation condo
at such a low cost. I could use something like that when I go to Greece
later this fall. :)
